Paul Steinke, Managing Director
Paul has twenty-four years of professional experience in providing business and financial consulting services. His background includes mergers and acquisitions, capital advisory services, private debt and equity transactions, corporate development, business strategy, financial audits and internal financial controls evaluation.
Prior to forming Dunning Capital, Paul originated and managed merger, acquisition and financing assignments in the Raleigh office of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance LLC from 1993 to 2000, then again from 2001 to 2002. At E&Y, he served clients operating in the manufacturing, technology, consumer products, and the health and life sciences industries. From 2000 to 2001, Paul was Vice President of Corporate Finance at BTI, a $280 million regional telephone company. Prior to joining E&Y, he was with National City Corporation (a $98 billion commercial bank based in Cleveland, Ohio).
Paul holds a BA in Accounting and a minor in Computer Science from Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |

David Swintosky, Managing Director
David has seventeen years of professional experience in providing business and financial consulting services. His background includes mergers and acquisitions, capital advisory services, initial public offerings and secondary offerings of debt and equity, private debt and equity transactions, restructuring, corporate development, business strategy, financial audits and internal financial controls evaluation.
Prior to forming Dunning Capital, David operated a financial consulting practice from 2000 to 2002. From 1995 to 2000, he worked in the Corporate Finance and the Entrepreneurial Services Groups of Ernst & Young LLC in Raleigh, NC. From 1992 to 1995, he held positions with Price Waterhouse, LLP and Concours, Inc., both located in Milwaukee, WI.
David holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from Wisconsin State University at Oshkosh. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Association for Corporate Growth, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the NC Association of CPA's.

Levi Boyd, Senior Associate
As Senior Associate for Dunning Capital, Levi is responsible for assisting the firm in investment banking transactions including mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, and strategic and financial consulting for clients. With a background in M&A investment banking, he has extensive experience in a variety of middle market transactions. Levi has advised on the sale of privately held companies and been involved in M&A and public equity transactions.
Prior to joining Dunning Capital, Levi was Vice President of Acquisitions and Strategic Growth at FaceTime Strategy, a marketing services company, where he was in charge of an aggressive national acquisition strategy. Prior to joining FaceTime, Levi provided financial consulting services to and invested in a handful of startup companies across multiple industries.
Preceding his entrepreneurial ventures, Levi was an Associate in the Aerospace & Defense investment banking group at BB&T Capital Markets | Windsor Group in Reston, Va. In this capacity, he advised middle market companies on a variety of M&A, public equity and capital raising transactions. While at BB&T Capital Markets, Levi obtained his Series 7 and 66 securities licenses.
Levi is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina State University holding a bachelor's degree in Business Management with a concentration in Finance. |

Peter Von Tobel, Associate
Peter has seven years of professional experience in providing business consulting services. His background includes corporate development, business strategy, project management, and system implementation.
Prior to joining Dunning Capital, Peter developed and managed large-scale IT implementations with Accenture from 2001 to 2008. He primarily served clients within Accenture's Revenue and Tax Industry and focused on the optimization and compliance of finance operations. Peter has also contributed to M&A transactions in the Retail and Energy industries.
Peter holds a BS in Business and Information Systems from Taylor University and an MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. While at Duke, he completed a dual concentration in Corporate and Investment Finance and was awarded the Certificate of Academic Excellence in Finance. |

Sarah Coleman, Intern
Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from North Carolina State University. Sarah is currently pursuing a second degree in Healthcare.

Michael Gallimore, Intern
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and is a candidate for a Master of Science in Accountancy Degree from Wake Forest University.
Michael’s experience includes analyst positions with Bloomberg, L.P. and Harbor Island Partners, LLC, where he gained valuable knowledge of mergers and acquisitions and private equity.
